Michele Foods has developed a unique partnership with the Gary Comer Youth Center (GCYC), a program that provides extracurricular education to youth on Chicago’s southside. The program supports students from schools in the Grand Crossing neighborhood by giving them an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in running a business through a mentoring and job placement program. With Michele Foods the students are actively involved in marketing the syrup brands, creating social mediacontent & placement, recipe development for consumers, and shipping the products to the company’s online customers. The partnership’s objective is to offer these students an open door to pursuing their dreams and expanding their opportunities.
